Bild des Projekts Falke Flagship Store Berlin

The project received the following awards:

The themes of densification, overlapping and transparency as a symbol of dynamism and urbanity are the guiding principles of the new concept for the FALKE flagship store with direct access to Berlin's Ku'damm. The overall design is based on the essential design parameters created by the relationships, proportions and interplay of surfaces and lines in the space. The desired appearance should underline the presentation of a successful, positive, service-oriented image to the public. The future ambience - and the associated representation of the client - was to be anchored in the memory for a long time to come.

The contrast between large-scale and small-scale, closed and open forms of product presentation determines the view in the elongated, tapering and sloping floor plan on the first floor. The result is a continuous and complex interplay between protrusion and recess, merging and breaks, lengths and widths, heights and depths. The movement of the structural elements takes up the existing floor plan structure and adapts rhythmically. The differentiated emphasis on vertical and horizontal surfaces creates a three-dimensional graphic in the space.

KEGGENHOFF | PARTNER developed a new form of staging for the previous industry-typical presentation of FALKE products. The selected product itself is defined in its variety of material, color and structure as an essential design feature and positioned in the fronts of the furniture elements to ensure the visual and emotional positioning of the brand with a concise, lasting effect.
